WITHIN THE VORTEX

Ride the winds, on the back of Hell,
Lightning bolts and crucifixion nails.
Stand alone for the ferryman,
The Styx’s black water waits,
To carry away the damned.

Come alive within the hurricane,
To forge a path and leave a stain.
Break the stones on the winds,
Lost alone the vortex,
Waiting for the world’s end.

Elemental,
I’m the man of the storm.
Homicidal,
I will claim your first born.

Death cold breath upon your neck,
Leaving you in a weeping wreck.
Bundles against cutting breeze,
No more warmth within,
The Reaper takes all with ease.

I’m the presence you feel,
The calm before the storm.
The Raging God in every age,
Taking your sacrifice,
Tornadoes scream my name.

To eternity I have bared witness,
A mountain in the storm of endless bliss.
The trees, they shiver, at my caress,
Trembling at my passing,
Upon the peace, I still trespass.

Elemental,
I’m the man of the storm.
Homicidal,
I will claim your first born.
