MEN DON’T CRY

I used to have a heart,
Till I gave it to someone,
Someone who I loved,
But she didn’t keep it long,
Returned it back in pieces,
The pieces I could not count,

They think that men don’t cry,
But I did,
They think men are strong,
But I felt weak,
I tried to put things together,
But the prospectus were bleak,

She was my hope in despair,
Now everything was dark but she was not there,
The things were already clear,
But I was still trying to cling to love,
The love that wasn’t there,
The love that was nowhere,

They still think that men don’t cry,
But I did.
