Cloudless Skies

I'd like to say I have one drawn up
The A to Being with you
one to ten or twenty months to go
My actions are happily quiet and idle
My love for you raced on ahead many
full moons ago, So far ahead that it's
living the loved up life I yearn for already.

Time we get there, to that place, Love will
be settled down, Relaxed, Chilin out even
"Hey where you two been"
"We been here ages"!

It's a happy idle time indeed
laughter and smiles served daily
till our emotions satisfied and content
sleeping it off awaiting another day.
Without the side order of anguish or concern
The serious shit can come another time

For all of the above is beautiful with the hint of
warm days and cloudless skies.

But It's all rather cliff face, Knife edged, Suspenseful
hanging in the balance, Not by a wrong word
or silent space, I think we have recognised,
Finally, Not to fall into holes that are not there.
But from the high ground we both dwell,
Hiding away from those, that if they tried
hard enough could, could erode our sanctuary
up above.
If we weren't so high up, then the balance
could be tipped unfavourably, even to the
point of being out of our undrawn plans and ideas.

But lets not go thinking such horrid thoughts;
Indeedly lets banish them from our higher
ground and keep the love burning bright,
Oh!, but no, not burning bright, This moment
up here is about you and me not to be seen
by others, So lets just sit and smile away the
days with laughter and lots and lots of imagined
kisses and hugs.
