Walls,four of them
holding me inside
telling me where to go
absorbing my sound
numbing my touch
like a late night t.v. show
crushing my sanity
squeezing my existence
stoping the flow
driving me to nowhere
silencing my senses
standing me in a row
give me an open door
one way out only
let me watch the grass grow.

Love the last stanza in particular. The hemming in effect of society. Very relatable write, Hashman. Also, the line, "standing me in a row," is poignant. Really nice work! :-)

I like how you turned "watch the grass grow" a phrase that usually means something negative (boredom) into something positive (being outside and free!)
