The Night

The Angels of
The night, so
Graceful and kind
Get me through, to the
Morning light
It’s been a long ride
Each step of the way
Turning and twisting
Back to the same
Stop light
Sleep walking through
The night and not
Knowing who I’ve
Been through the
Dark night
As the morning light
Shines through the windows
Of my life, I might be
Free once again
From this dark night
