If I were to die tonight
what a horrible place I'd be
with all this pain inside my heart
darkness is all I see
Sometimes I feel
like I'm already gone
since loosing all I've known
left searching through the dirt
for the seeds that I have sown

For the flowers I had planted
the roses I had grown
their thorns are all that's left me
I am stranded and alone
You no longer bring me lilies
when you come to speak my name
the thoughts you bring to give me
are defeatist and the same

and no one here to lay with me.
