I quit work today
said fuck it
flipped 'em the bird
through the out door
went about my way
felt so good
finally free
able to go live and be
now I have time
can rebuild blessed energy
conquer my quests
maybe just sit down to rest
where skies can paint
while I am underneath
to see with freedom

hands of time
securely mine
where a parasitic tick
turns to a given
I breathe my dreams deep
