"You have opened your Hearts to the Spirits of the Earth, and through Witchcraft it has been to your hurt."
America where you are is
where you have been heading
all along
You forsook the bedrock of
the Foundation that made
you strong
You can argue and say, "That
the founding fathers did not
believe in Christianity and
its values and that is not
what they meant when they
wrote the Constitution,"
If not then why is it being
trampled-on every day and its
words being betrayed
It's because the spirit that
now works in this country is
one that is advancing it
towards the conformity of this
people into a god that its
fathers did not know
One that will not honor all
their personal beliefs and
will make them bow low
A spirit of witchcraft has
brought this country to this
place and they no longer
behold the Lords face
There backs are turned from
Him and though they claim to
live the same way that He did,
the works of their hearts have
Him hid
Witchcraft, similar to a
gateway drug, will open your
hearts and minds to every
spirit of the earth, to your hurt
And will cause you to embrace and
be tolerant to everything no
matter what the end result is
But you have rebelled and turned
your hearts from He that is Holy,
so that your country has been given
to calamity and He has said by the
mouth of His Prophet,
1 Samuel 15:22-23,
22 "Behold, to obey is better than
sacrifice, and to hearken than the
fat of rams.
23 For rebellion is as the sin of
witchcraft, and stubbornness is as
iniquity and idolatry."
And you have now embraced a darkness
and mysterious spirit that you can
never subdue
So that in the end the destructive
power of Islam will rule over you
But if at some point when you have
been under its subjection and
remember in your hearts that,
"Jesus," is the only True God, then
turn your face to Him and He will
redeem you through His Grace

Yes Theo, it is a slow fade.
The path into darkness doesn't
lead you there overnight; it's
gradual and there are many
warnings along the way to lead
you back to the Light.
This country is not even 300
years old and the newest one
in history and is already one
of the most wicked and rebellious.
Thanks for reading... Thomas

I believe that I know

Truth needs to be told.
If you saw that a child

you would jump in and rescue
them without any regard to

At the First Council of Nicaea (325 AD), the Christian Church settled the debate about the divinity of Christ between the various and diverse communities spread across Christiandom. What's very interesting is how some pagan rituals were embraced by the Church. The Christmas holiday had its roots in pagan practices and beliefs. Indeed, a very interesting period in the history of Christianity.

Thanks again Strider; your comments have
made me sit and think a bit and also do
a bit of praying on the matter.
Ephesians 3:8-11 says,
8 "Unto me, who am less than the
least of all saints, is this grace
given, that I should preach among
the Gentiles the unsearchable
riches of Christ;
9 And to make all men see what is
the fellowship of the mystery,
which from the beginning of the
world hath been hid in God, who
created all things by Jesus Christ:
10 To the intent that now unto the
principalities and powers in heavenly
places might be known by the church
the manifold wisdom of God,
11 According to the eternal purpose which
he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
Paul began by saying that for the longest
time God was a mystery but that the Person
of Jesus Christ, (which person; that of
Christ, we can also be), was created by Him
so that man could walk in the Presence of
their Creator and know Him and that the
Church was to be or become the manifold
wisdom of God, (Gods' wisdom is to be
displayed through the Church).
I think that, that is what the convening of
the Council of Nicaea was meant for but
considering that the Catholic Church was an
Roman created/sanctioned military strategy,
I don't think that the Wisdom of God was
being fully represented here.
And you know, I've thought a lot about the
similarities in the different beliefs and
religions; how they can be thousands of
miles or years away from each other, (referring
to pre a.d times when that kind of distance
could be a world of difference), and still be the same to an extent.
I think that because man has been created to
know and be the image of God, that God has
tried to reveal Himself in different cultures
and peoples and religions and some have a
revelation/understanding of Him to a degree.
But I think that Christ was the complete
explanation of God in a bodily form and none
after Him and that God brought Himself to
fruition in Him for us to imitate and now all
the other beliefs are to comply with His
example.
I do Thank You for taking the time to
write down some of your thoughts on
these topics.
You would be a great person to talk to
face to face with about these kinds of
things as open-minded and knowledgeable
as you are.
Not offering, just saying... Thomas

First Corinthians 8:5-6 says,
5 "For though there be that are
called gods, whether in heaven
or in earth, (as there be gods
many, and lords many,) 6 But to
us there is but one God, the
Father, of whom are all things,
and we in him; and one Lord Jesus
Christ, by whom are all things,
and we by him."
Paul was stating that there are
many people, spirits that are
called gods and there are many
Lords; this is true but there is
only one God, just one and Jesus
Christ expressed Him to the
fullest in a mortal body for us.
He is the True example and
display of God our Father.
Colossians 2:8-10 tells us,
8 "Beware lest any man spoil
you through philosophy and
vain deceit, after the
tradition of men, after the
rudiments of the world, and
not after Christ.
9 For in him dwells all the
fullness of the knowledge of
God bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him,
which is the head of all
principality and power:"
So everything that could be
known about God was in the
body of Jesus Christ. And we
can also have God living in
our bodies through the Holy
Spirit so that we can also
know and experience Him.
People would say that it's
blasphemous or prideful to
think that we can know God
but that's why we have been
made: to experience His Glory
and fellowship with Him.
One more Scripture please;
John 17:20-21
20 "Neither pray I for these
alone, but for them also which
shall believe on me through
their word;
21 That they all may be one;
as you, Father, are in me, and
I in you, that they also may be
one in us: that the world may
believe that you have sent me.
Jesus prayed for everyone who
would come to God through Him.
That they would be made One with
God through Him.
That we could have a personal
relationship with our Creator.
And this takes place through the
ability of the Holy Spirit; it
begins to make us one with God.
We are not God; we do not take
His place; but we do have the
ability to communicate with Him.
Man himself is not God and never
will be.

I will still enjoy your works as poetry, but this shift to purely Christianity has be in a tailspin.
The only law there should be is to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This is not a purely Christian belief or tenet, and this shift from a belief in the way we treat each other, to a purely Christian focus leaves me cold.

I am truly sorry that my last
poem had a negative effect on
you Petit.
It is my intent to share truth
and enlightenment with whomever
I meet, (If they allow).
I get the opportunity to speak
to a lot of people about these
things, (as I am finding myself
drawn more and more to the,
"Preaching,"/explanation, of
these things), through my work
and church services and people
that I meet daily and get all
kinds of responses as you can
imagine considering how different
and unique we all are, with our
own beliefs and opinions on life.
But your opening statement is very
true; "The only law there should be is to do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
This is a Law that is worldwide,
for the most part.
There is a Scripture that goes;
Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."
He was telling them that the life
that He was living in front of them
was not one that contradicted or
done away with their Law but, that
fulfilled every commandment of it
and completed it.
The Law that was given to the Jews
was one that was supposed to be
taught to the whole world and that
the world would live by, (And if a
person/people did live by their Law
then, "Do unto others as you would
have them do unto you," would be well
taken care of).
And along the line of Witches and
Witchcraft goes; the life that they
are living is real and the spirits that
they contact and call upon are real and
they influence people.
And they believe in accepting and being
tolerant of all things, (which we cannot,
individually or globally).
To not accept every spirit that arises
is not hateful or discriminating but
is safeguarding your life and your world.
There is a really a whole lot more to go
into to have a good understanding of all
of this but it would take up pages of
viral space and be to long-winded for
this platform.
I do hope tat you keep reading though for
as long as I post on here Petit.

I Thank You very much for
reading Grace.
I guess that I kind of
anticipate your replies
now since we are kindred
in spirit.
You know it's written in
John 16:13,
"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come."
I receive my understandings
on what's going on through
Prayer and some fasting,
(not as much of that as I'd
like to), and I take the
Scriptures and apply them
to the world and what's
going on in it comparatively.
The Spirit has revealed some
things to me directly, (thru
Revelation), that I hadn't
studied.
But we as Christians have the
greatest opportunity to help
the world because we are the
closest to God in Truth through
the Knowledge and power of
Christ.
But the key is Prayer and fasting
and obedience to the guiding of
the Spirit.
It seems like the only time that
we Pray is when we want that new
car or bonus at the job.
The Arabs pray 5 times a day; the
Buddhists are constantly meditating
and studying their writings; and
not for personal gain.
The nature of a Monk is enlightenment
of God and the denial of this world.
I think that we need to get a different
mentality ourselves so that we can bring
the Power of God through Christ to this
world; myself especially.

Very true Thomas,
I need to pray & fast more.
I know I do! Without a doubt.
I would reply more often, I have
three children, they take up most
of my time. But I love reading your
words. I am blessed by them.

I am not American so I do not presume to pontificate on your view of its spiritual climate - although there are similarities.
However, using a picture of a BRAZILIAN scene (Christ the Redeemer over Rio) to illustrate a poem about the USA does your message a potential disservice and may draw criticisms from Brazilians. (If I were to write a poem of this kind about England I would not use a scene from the Irish Republic, for example.)
