Yellow hope

As a child i always pictured hope to be yellow

hopeless is sight of

eyes that never sink in its beauty

for glowworms and my heart go

hand-in-hand

that marries night and

gets widowed by day

throw me a storm that once was
            wind over your daisies

i bet smoke was once sun's whore

cradled by blinding blue flames
rising hazy from my cigarette
for

Sometimes hope is the loneliest word

...a battling bastard between

              red and purple...
