Father of the year award

He doesn't  know if he ever had the chance to say bye.
He just knows that as a child he would cry.
He asked Mommy when is Daddy coming home?
A child without a father, feeling so all alone.
He couldn't remember what he looked like, didn't know the sound of his voice.
Asking mommy why he left, was it my fault? Or was it his choice?
Step father abused him, mommy was at work.

Teachers asked him what his father did.

I don't know where he is, haven't heard from him in years.
He's probably somewhere getting drunk and running from his fears.

His dreams of talking to his father came true after 11 years went by.
Finally he had his dad, but he still never came around.
He's only seen him 3 times after the day his father was found.
He doesn't talk to his father anymore, he sometimes wishes he never met em.
