Image for the poem Caliente

Caliente' {w.BlackVelvetRose}

Besieged are we with aphrodesia:
The music, caliente’; the poetry, inspiring.
We have wined and dined, our garments shed,
And like the sterling night, beguiling.

Cherries dipped in chocolate,
Bristol Cream, to soothe the tongue.
Firelight’s dance will bathe the room
In shadows that we swim among.

Flowing wine, impassioned deeds
The moon moans, a shooting star sighs.
Velvet desire, lingering fingertips
Dance upon silken thighs.

Harmonized to a secret chorus
Soft tips gently kissed, in music so rare.
The aura, thick as wild honey
Soothing to the senses, feathery and fair.

She tattoos fantasies on his back
From out of the very air;
He brands the welts of delicate bites
Upon her derriere.

The world may pause its wayward spin
And grant us moments of carnal bliss.
By heaven conceived: a woman, a man,
Whose ardent hearts were made for this.
