All the Words I Need
In her smile
I find new hope.
His laugh a beacon,
A welcome home.
The body of a woman,
Or the love of man.
The tree that bends,
Creeks and screams,
Outside my window.
A mirror,
Set before me.
A brush in my hand,
Dipping with colors
Dreamt of in my mind.
The city skyline,
Beyond my sight
Past a field of green.
The world is open,
She has accepted me.
Given to me,
All the words I need.
I find new hope.
His laugh a beacon,
A welcome home.
The body of a woman,
Or the love of man.
The tree that bends,
Creeks and screams,
Outside my window.
A mirror,
Set before me.
A brush in my hand,
Dipping with colors
Dreamt of in my mind.
The city skyline,
Beyond my sight
Past a field of green.
The world is open,
She has accepted me.
Given to me,
All the words I need.
