Visiting

If I tremble
It's not due to fear

I trust that,
By now

You don't mistake
My twitching fingers

For anxiousness
Struggling with insecurity

Plexiglass walls
Hide a lot, however

And prevent
Quite a bit

Which is fine
With me

But tell me
How do you feel

Watching me
Reading me

Trying to find
Something, anything

Of my countenance
To portray emotion

For you
To feed on

No, not as easy
As you would want

That would
Ruin the game

So come back
Visit me another day

Come closer
To realizing

You are no more
Free than I

But use
Your bed

As justification
Or ambivalence truth

To lie
To yourself

And tell
Yourself

That you are
Not trapped

Just as me
In a cell

When will you
Look out

From the
Little shell

You so gladly
Wrapped yourself in

Inside the grasp
Of who pays you

And realize that
The only cell

I've been in with
Three musty, dirty

Rock walls
And a plexiglass barrier

Keeping you
From me

With all of my
'Crimes' and inhumane acts

Or at least
That's what you're told

By who? Oh yes,
Your givers of greed

But that
This cell

Is not what
You perceive

And I am
Only You

Inside of
Me
