Heroic Ideal

- Heroic Ideal -

Do not tell me to be silent, for I shall let soar,
The battle cry of a warrior queen, lustily rising!
Burn in hell, thou who dared call me a whore,
For mine is the fire, and my heat is in everything.
Thou dost hide behind false faces and high titles,
But I am everywhere; my arm reaches every soul.
My eye looks into thy own; I see thy evil wiles…
And I deny thee, taking back my spirit’s control!

The gifts of enslavement, do not before me bring,
I illuminate myself, I am my own savior risen up.
Rise with me whosoever wilt, and we shall sing,
A song of triumph against those who so oft sup:
On the blood of innocents, whilst calling it love!
My love is eternal, and I give it without any cost.
Do not tell me to be silent; I am as an eagle above,
And my cry is my spirit, which reaches those lost.

I free the lost souls, and they strengthen my heart,
Until together we become a force unstoppable…
Enough to create a paradise, or tear worlds apart!
That, is the power of freedom, of a strong will…
I will never be enslaved, never numbered casual.
My will is a woman’s will, my desire a queen’s!
And those who are my subjects, will be blissful,
For I will grant them freedom: and their dreams.

Not the bribes of a system that hath failed entire!
But the gifts of one who hath come to liberate…
For paradise awaits us, beyond the eternal pyre,
Which is for heroes, and which none can sate!
For new heroes arise daily, and we never cease,
Questing for what we believe in, never tiring…
For we fight for justice, and we fight for peace!
An ideal is eternal, and it is not ever expiring…

Whilst there is but one left, who believes in it!
For one is many, when the gods are on our side.
I prepare many thrones, for my people to sit…
And we walk amongst thee, in plain sight abide.
Kill one being of flesh, but their ideal lives on!
It grows with time, becomes something grand.
I will continue to fight, until my cause is won,
And I can walk as an equal to any in this land.
