Winter Moonlight

Late last night
     A scream pierced the night
Within the shadows
     Under the moonlight
Screams become howls

Unleash the beast
     A morbid taste for flesh
Raise the hackles
     A wolf pack with a wish
To become gods

     Free yourself
From the shackles
     Be yourself
When lightning crackles
     Lose humanity
Take on the features
     Become God
Of a lunar creature

     Join the pack
In nightly delights
     Claim the bitch
Before she takes flight
     Lead the pack
On nightly rampage
     Crown the alpha
And set the stage

Godlike creatures
     Winter trenches
Godless hunger
     Endless plunder
Wreaking havoc
     Wolfen traffic
Utter delight
     Winter moonlight
