Too Late By faithmairee and Zenith Quasar77

A collaboration by Zenith Quasar77 (Marcus Cooke)  and faithmairee (Faith Elizabeth Brigham)

Its seems like a thousand years
I've lost all my hope and fears
I lost you once
but I'm coming back

Over my shoulder i see the sun
two left feet on the run
through England's
deserted street's
to America's city heat
i lost you once
but I'm coming back.

I tried to hold on
but you were gone for so long
You left me no choice
but to move on
I still love you
I guess I always will
but there's no future for us
no use in trying
to get back what we had
now I'm in love with another man

My soul has become an icebox
a Baltic sea of agonizing screams
I shouldn't have left you my sweet,
I should have stayed by your side
tease me once, fool me twice
I should have listened to my heart
not other people's advice
I lost you once
but im coming back.

It would be easy
to let you back into my life
But the man i love
wants to make me his wife
I can't treat him
the way you treated me
I can't leave him
full of so much misery
Baby, I don't want you
coming back to me
it's just too late for you and me
You left me once
you're not coming back.
