Apparition
I lay in my bed
Comfortably
W/ thoughts of
the day replaying
in my head
Somewhere around
3-ish I'm awoken
w/ a feeling that is
Prevalent
in my mind and skin
I sit straight-up
Aright
Adjusting my eyes
to the dim light
The ominous feeling
Hasn't diminished but
permeates the room w/ its
Presence
I try to remain calm, not
wanting it to sense my
Frightened energy
What does it want, to talk
or, a place to haunt
I never found-out myself
But the presence remained
Felt by three others
A 3 y/o old child who
actually saw its dark,
shadowy form, my uncle and
cousin
Whatever it was, it followed
them to four other homes cause,
twenty years later I felt it
once again while visiting them
Laying in bed, I felt the hairs
on my arms and head raise and
a feeling of dread
Maybe an old family-member who
chose to remain, not wanting to
relinquish this earthly plain
