Note to Someone Who Knew Her Back When We First......
...damn, R___.....canno tell ye how odd'bizarre
it is to be here, bombarded wit memories//
Eric & Julia(her daughter 2nd marriage) are amazing 'kids' to be with....
the way they're takin care o bizness
& maintaining sense of humor
that L. would be well in tune with is amazing...
wee just got back from scattering some of her ashes at her daddy's grave, the rose garden in the park & Lake Shawnee......
after meeting many of the friends
she had here in the last 3yrs,
she was Not the fulltime mess that
her episodes of illness made me imagine
......most time, she seems to have been
the sweet fun kid that I fell for way back.
And a great Mom to these 2 kids.
.....I find myself sorry that I did not make an effort 'reconnect' with her as a friend these last few years..........
'good thing' I spent so many years
denying that I missed her after we parted...now
I can make up that 'missing' of her as her dear
soul has departing us.
just another joke of the paradox of Love's Illusions
so much for regret, eh?
