I Brought Home Dinner.

I made it home finally with
what you said you had been
dreaming about all day and
couldn't wait to get it in your
mouth to savor and taste,
till the juice flowed-out and
ran down your throat

You said, "Hurry up and take
it out,"
I can get it ready here on
the table or the counter, we
don't need to go anywhere
cause, this is as good a place
to start it than any other place
in the house

So on the table it was that you
decided to try and get your hands
on this meat
I took it out and showed it to you
and you said, "It's very thick and
big, I don't know how much I can
stomach,"

So I tried to be gentle and reassuring,
telling you that you'd be surprised how
much you could actually get inside you,
if you just took it slow and let the meat
slowly not to quickly fill you

I know when it's in you, you'll feel like your
about to explode but, if you just relax
you might be able to take even a little more

You agreed and said, that your oven was
warming-up and should be ready whenever
I am to put in that thick slab of nice looking
meat
You were hot I could tell, even though we
hadn't been at this long cause, from your
forehead you were sweating
But you showed eager anticipation for what
you were about to be getting

So I opened-up your oven and slowly slid the
meat in
It was hot and receiving and altogether ready
for this couple of pounds that it was being given

Your eyes grew big and your heart-beat began
to race, legs became weak as it came closer to
that special place
I could tell that you would allow me to
feed this to you any day

No other time have I heard you pray, until today
when under your breath I heard you say, "Dear
God, I don't know how much more I can take,"

Just in time thankfully, it was all done
I opened up the oven one more time, pulled out
that delicious looking t-bone steak, cut you off a
piece and offered you a taste

It must've been delicious cause, you looked like
you nearly came
I don't know if I should be jealous or ok

Either way no worries, I'm glad you enjoyed the
meat that I made
