The Mid-Knight of Nothing
deeper and darker than the color black
he was mesonoxian
I loved him, he was dismally divine
I frolicked in his desolate playground
well, for a time
everything natural eventually dies
but...I miss the man cloaked in disaster
drab yet brighter than any earthly light
I miss the shadow which was never far behind
wallowing in the empty
with memories of the abysmal boy
I find myself dreaming of sunless days
like him I cling to nothing
he loved that fucking word, nothing,
he said it would always come back to nothing
nothing was absolute
you could count on nothing
and nothing is always there
he favored Cenobites over Angels
he wanted the hooks halos just seemed to heavy
thoughts like that, I could never envy
dawn breaks through the clouds of revere
obscure thoughts of him begin to fade
the ever absolute nothing creeps in
my mind grabs at the last images of him
pain is felt throughout
my heart screams in agony
NOTHING will ever replace you
NOTHING feels like you
NOTHING will fill this void
nothing
nothing
nothing
I guess he was right about nothing
it is always there
and I can count on it being there tomorrow
nothing
nothing
nothing
he was mesonoxian
I loved him, he was dismally divine
I frolicked in his desolate playground
well, for a time
everything natural eventually dies

nothing
nothing
nothing
