Behind the Mask, I am my Mask
Behind the Mask
And upon my face
may lie another smile
but its just another lie.
Take my mask and you take it all
because there is nothing behind
So whats behind the mask?
You may well ask
But the answer is that
Nothing is behind the mask
As the world resides in front of it.
There is not much of a man
behind my mask
But as part of it I am everything;
I am my Mask.

Its all rather simple really: without the mask I am nothing. The world'll end the day someone synchronises with me.

mask or no mask, if you have it all with either or, then i'm satisfied. personally, i think the mask adds character.

Unfortunately, that character would be obsessive (phantom of the opera) or psychotic (joker from batman) or an unknown hero (any superhero) or fallen hero (some supervillians). Fortunately any of these beat being nothing.
