mother asked me
what color is tuesday?
i said
light purple,
like a lavender.
i thought up until then
that's just how everybody else
sees things.
a teacher once asked me
how would you describe what a color
looks likes
to a person who has been blind
since birth?
the answer is
you can't.
i started then
to wonder
if the blind
can have synthesia?
