The Dream

She hears me scream,
in hi-def,
from somewhere,
out of my dreams
I think it's the
vampires feeding me,
trying to, free me
These restraints,
suffocating,
no longer, compelling
Shell-shocked,
stopped clocks,
some non-specific time
All my former pantomimes,
no longer, rhyme

She asks if she can free me
It's to dark here, don't
think you know the remedy
but maybe you can appease
me, momentarily

They come again, in a dream
