Poem to My Future Daughter
The 10 things I'll teach my daughter.
1. Most boys will treat you like your an object, but a real man will not be afraid to call you his equal.
2. Never use the excuse "it's because I'm a woman".
3. I'm letting you know now that you should never let another human being humiliate you in ways that question your character with words like whore bitch or cunt.
4. Banzzz will never make you dance. That's what Zumba's for.
5. Daddy will always love you no matter who you decide to marry. Man or woman.
6. Never be afraid to say no.
7. Falling in love is a lot like riding Your bike combined with sky diving . It's scary, reckless and sometimes moves a little to fast. It's probably the most traumatic yet amazing experience you'll ever endeavor. When you fall I hope you land on your feet
8. Happiness isn't a pants size, nor a weight. You can't get it from copying the girls you see in magazines. It's none of the things you see in movies. It's a bi product of the fire that burns inside you.
9. Be you're own role model.
10. You're gorgeous no matter what anyone says.
I said 10. You're gorgeous. 10 you're amazing. 10 I can not put a limit to the things I want to teach you. 10 never be afraid to smile. Never be afraid to voice your opinion. You're my daughter. Don't you forget it.
