picking up the pieces
boxing them away
burying them down
The holy highway
Were you all calm
without any fear
Why just for you two
The rest of us unclear.
People will remember
those close at hand
your final moments
Breathing on this land.
A selfish act
Or just and true
Whatever the reason
A quiet moment thinking
Of both of you.

ploughed into them in what is believed to have been
a suicide pact.**

I used to ride the train to work in San Francisco and periodically there would be delays due to some desperate soul, usually a teen, had run in front of the train. It made me cry every time. To the youth I so wish they had the benefit of life's experiences that say "this too shall pass" and it always does.

it was only a small tribute to two people i didnt know, but a small tribute all the same.
it always hits a nerve as to why people who appear to be of good health want to just stop living, Being young makes it even more heartbreaking.
i dont think i'll ever have the answers as to why.

I am sorry if it's true that it was a suicide pact. Youth and it's impatience cause so much unneeded heartache.
But I would like to add that it may not have been. I worked for a rail line, and often the cause appeared to be headphones turned up so loud they didn't notice the train coming up behind them.

Happened this week. In the uk. Google it and read for yourself. Quite sad all round. Around the world its a daily thing unfortunately
