Daddys little failure
You look at me and say I'm your little girl
you constantly put me down and tell me I'm wrong
I do everything I'm told, And a little bit more
But all I get in return is.... three hour lectures on how I messed it up
I get told I'm a failure no not told I get screamed at all you do is tell me how bad I am and how big of a failure I've become, you don't help me you break me,
your not lifting me up
your pushing me down
I try to please you but,
all I get in return is you telling me and all my friends that I am a failure and I will amount to nothing, why should I try anymore it seems all I will ever be is your failure

I know the feeling, it sucks. But ur not a failure no matter what everyone else say. If you tried ur best then the world and everyone in it need to take that for that.

Excuse my language but FUCK anybody who calls you a failure- you are overtly a great person so just keep being who you are... i have been trying to change for people for the longest and that never works... be yourself and THANKS. This poem is inspirational because i know it is so much more than ranting and raving!!!!

Thank you. Thank you for putting this poem up. You aren't a failure. You just feel that way. My dad was the exact same way. I just didn't have friends for him to tell it to. So fuck him and you are better than him. Here on DU we support you, we love you, we lift you up even as everyone pushes you down. Everyone is here for you. If you ever need any thing message me, I'll do my best to help you and just remember, no matter what anyone says, you are fine being you.
