Truly Happy
I smiled today
And I'm proud to say
The knife never crossed my mind
We laughed and enjoyed ourselves this time
My mommy came home
So I wasn't alone
My daddy said sorry for yelling at me
Saying being mean wasn't his cup of tea

But for once here in my life at home
I am truly happy
