Bully Boy

This is a simple ditty of no great merit but, hell, I enjoyed writing it so I'll inflict it on yers, poor buggers! ;-)


Big bad bully in the school yard
Swaggering, preening thinks he’s hard
Up to the new boy of Chinese descent
Thinks on him his rage he’ll vent
‘Yer a slant eyed geek’ the bully sneers
Grabs the youngster by the ears
 
‘Give me your money or I’ll beat you up
I’m top dog round here you ugly pup’
Hears a voice behind him softly say
‘Leave him alone and go away’
Whirls around to see a Chinese girl
Coal black eyes and teeth of pearl

Takes a swing to slap her face
She sidesteps him with ease and grace
Her hand shoots up beneath his chin
Quick push and a trip and she’s flattened him

He goes down with a mighty thud
‘For a hard guy you’re not very good’
Contemptuous stare and lips a-curl
He can’t be beaten by a girl

Up he gets, takes a swing at her head
Then the one thing that all bullies dread
Happens in split seconds blur
When his punch arrives she isn’t there
 
He feels the stab of awful pain
Then he’s on the floor again
Clutching his neck he starts to choke
Thinks his adam’s apple’s broke
 
She helps him up and sits him down
‘Now listen to me you silly clown
You’re not hurt bad and you’ll recover
Just leave him alone my little brother’

So ended the bullies fearful reign
For things will never be the same
His former victims point and jeer
Now he's the one who lives with fear
