Don’t tell me what I already know
don’t tell me that you know what
I mean when even I don’t know
and cannot fathom the meaning
You say we are in this together
but there is no us, just you and me
and me and you. I am alone and
so are you

don’t make it better with your
sweet words that I crave, just
