'Golden Tongue'

A haggard looking man
fresh in from the 'jungle
mines'
walked the city streets...

searchin' wearily
tryin' to find
a woman to share
in the treasures
of his soul's design...

Stopped in his tracks
after seeing his life's sunshine
he stumbled, then mumbled,
finally marvellin' at her eyes so kind...

Spoke, in as eloquent a manner
as he could muster
droppin' to his knees all afluster,
said...

"Forgive me,
for lackin' in my mind's capacity
for when I first layed eyes 'pon your
beauty's audacity...
I admit it freely, a loss of verbiage
had Gotten the best of me...

and I foolishly
referred to you as a perfect ten
yet when given a little moment,
see supreme your beauty
to truly comprehend...

it was quite clear
you are far more
than a simple ten,
you are a priceless GEM"
