I thank you for the comment. I am new to this. I am used to jotting down fleeting thoughts and then coming back later and trying to tie them all together into something that sounds good. I'll keep trying though. Maybe I'll improve. Thank you though. If you have any suggestions though, I'm definitely open to them.

Like I said I do enjoy the subject matter, and there are nice moments, to note: "desires once caged deep in the earth, are conjured-up." For my money, I'd try to streamline things a little more. Trim anything that doesn't absolutely need to be there. I always approach writing like a child, less is sometimes more.
