The Hunter's Moon

 When night falls…

Who is the hunter and who is the prey?
Answers learned easily in the day
But under the cloak of ever darkness
I embrace the lonely temptress

Underneath… The Hunter’s Moon
Smell fear in the night
With no place they can flee
Underneath… The Hunter’s Moon
The hunted takes flight
Run hard away from me

Hear the heartbeats of the fleeing fearing
Throughout the woods, beyond clearing
The howl of the wolves brings on the dread
Natural you feel, fear of the dead

And as you feel hot breath caress your neck
Dread fills your guts, make you so sick
You will know that the Reaper is near
Look to the man in the moon
And see his sneer

Underneath… The Hunter’s Moon
Smell fear in the night
With no place they can flee
Underneath… The Hunter’s Moon
The hunted takes flight
Run hard away from me

When night falls… The wolves come out
Fear death, heart of doubt
Flee as fast as you can
When night falls… The wolves come out
Warm meat fills the mouth
And beast conjoins with Man

Underneath… The Hunter’s Moon
Smell fear in the night
With no place they can flee
Underneath… The Hunter’s Moon
The hunted takes flight
Run hard away from me
