Natural Cycles
To the west the song birds do sing
Loudly their voices ring
Above your head high in the tree
Symphonies perched you see
To the east the big bucks now grunt
Warnings as men now hunt
Falls chill in the morning air
Dear season bangs declare
To the south the geese will now fly
Patterned against the sky
Nature’s annual journey took
To find a nice warm brook
To the north the trout swim to spawn
Colder waters guide on
Currents strong the way they like it
Every year they don't quit
Seasons changing from warm to cold
Winter taking ahold
Mother Nature’s patterns foretold
For her things are controlled
Loudly their voices ring
Above your head high in the tree
Symphonies perched you see
To the east the big bucks now grunt
Warnings as men now hunt
Falls chill in the morning air
Dear season bangs declare
To the south the geese will now fly
Patterned against the sky
Nature’s annual journey took
To find a nice warm brook
To the north the trout swim to spawn
Colder waters guide on
Currents strong the way they like it
Every year they don't quit
Seasons changing from warm to cold
Winter taking ahold
Mother Nature’s patterns foretold
For her things are controlled
