Ignorance is only bliss until you wish you knew the answer,
Anxious questions impatiently resting upon the tip of your tongue,
Lips sealed although itís eating you up inside,
(It was your silence that said it all.)
But out of habit I open my mouth before you even ask.
I already know how everyone always expect the worst on my part,
But it just kills me that youíre no exception.
A lifetime of accusations,
Conceived in such a common manner,
although only half aware,
Knowing Iíve had no reason to lie.
Unable to escape cautious eyes,
Watching over my each and every moveÖ
So afraid of what Iíll do when no ones there to choose.
Wont look away,
If I slip up now youíll think Iím up to something.
Canít you see Iím already running in circles?
All but out of options now and youíre still not convinced.
So donít acknowledge right,
Not if you can dwell on my wrongs.
It was only a matter of detail,
Or one of denial...
But I donít think you ever understood.[/font]
