As in the Clouds

As in the clouds,
Lit by a silvery glow
My ghost flies,
Departing.

As in the clouds,
The man I love
Lays sleeping,
Soundly.

As in the clouds,
My life was lit silvery
Only to drift away,
Fleeting.

As in the clouds,
I gazed upon my love
enwrapped, yet I in distant
Lonesome.

As in the clouds,
Storms grew in me
And torrential rains fell,
Silently.

As in the clouds,
I fell from the sky
And sank into the earth,
Affably.

As in the clouds,
My lighting struck
And like he I slept,
Peacefully.

As in the clouds,
I am but a memory
And my love lives on,
Unknowingly.

As in the clouds,
The skies have brightened
And I have disappeared,
Absolutely.
