Hermit

Disconnected
Pain and torment cannot reach me here
I see events unfolding
I try to understand

Wrapped in the cocoon
That I call my mind
(I come to realize)
It isn't easy
It isn't fun
However,
Something must be done

And so I leave my protective shell
To enter a place
Quite close to hell
I begin to struggle it's full of strife
I have enetered,
A place known as life
