audible sigh
the sound of his broken spirit resonated across an echo
tick-tock the time moved so slow it seemed to stop
the world waited upon an eggshell...breathless
for the moment to pass
and as it did a catastrophe of emotion fell from his
swollen eyes
in the shadow of an evening within a fragile moment
a teardrop rests upon a crumb of sanity
as time stands still... the silence is shattered by an
audible sigh
