THE UNSEEN RAVEN OF THINGS
stallion necks
arc
in the fresh
raw stir
of each new storm
that comes
streaming manes
flow
in wild
wild winds
i see it in
trees
in other things
as well
in broad
green arc
of banana leaves
resilient
wind blown dance
in higher arc
of swaying palm
trees fronds
in arc
of minds
which see beyond
set free
to run
so passionately
through life s exciting
ripeness
at every
new turn
at every given
chance
within life s rich
miraculous
free dance
there is a certain
experiential
wordlessnes
to winter s
icy breathlessness
beyond
what can be said
with mere
descriptive words
alone
which only
the hungriest
of eyes and hearts
perceive
through open senses
in speechless
silence
through humbled
awe
of greater being
which untold lifetimes
have long
reflected upon
have tried
to understand
though only
misunderstood
from the overall
look of things
here presently today
wherein
some mystic koan
awaits perhaps
underlying
the outer shell
of every fluid
passing season
recyclically
come and gone
again
and again
and again
which quietly
whispers
within
the infinitely
broader context
of everything else
of all
that is
simply masked
yet not
so much hid
as it is
simply and merely
lost
somewhere
in the vast
ever expanding
mix
of the sublimely
ineffable
greater mystery
of it all
both before
and aft
their subtle
segued passing
hidden so well
beyond
the dissonant
greater
dance
of broken shadows
both moving
and still
forever falling
wherever
sunlight falls
as well
brought on by
the long forgotten
though still
lingering
vibrational feeling
which i perceive
and prefer
to call
here now
the mysterious
unseen
raven of things
where hopefully
someday
soon enough now
somewhere here
beyond
all of mankinds
present madness
solutions may
still yet
one day come
again
to find themselves
resolved
along with
all of us
ourselves
renewed resolved
at long last
here
as well
for just as long
as we each
and all
continue
to come
and go here
over and over
again and again
and again
here in
the wondrous
ever mysterious
greater
unseen
raven of things
we
and all
things
are
