My Hometown Memorial Parade

Today we honor the
Fallen,
the
Standing,
the
Brave
We salute to each
soldier,
we read a name and
sound the bell
Saluting to
Courage,
Heroism,
Valor
As we raise our flag
I look and see
Pride,
Dignity,
and
Guts
in many faces
We are all here for
one reason,
to
Remember
the
Men
and
Women
who have served
for our nation
The trumpet plays
the drum repeats
it's strong steady
beat
As we express
our
gratitude

Thank You to ALL
that served
