Soul Meets Body

I want my soul to meet your body
before we all burn,
before the June moon
abandons springs’ last sunflower
when memories of me are just a dream
of times lost forever
And if silence takes you away,
I hope it takes me too
for I will follow you into the dark
where your soul meets my body    
before there’s nothing left to do
