No Lesson Generation X

Once when the pain possessed
and we molested our breasts of healing,
We hid behind the pain of sex
and faked and raped out feelings.

Misled with wine and bread
Death on a cross became accepted,
But the hate within ourselves met with
a society full of rejection.

We are the brave
Breathe in our sound
We are the love
Arise from the ground
We reach for the light
Youth no longer drown

Weights grew heavy
And our burdens consumed air
We paid your sick levies
To live a life so unfair.

Dug up the graves
Where our souls now resided
Spirit became body
The youth were united

We are the brave
Breathe in our sound
We are the love
Arise from the ground
We reach for the light
Youth no longer drown

Pain was the easy way
To hide and to cower
I heard God fucked a meter maid
In Gods final hour.

Role models fill holes
Only the strong change themselves
The youth break through the bonds
and escape their creation of hell.
