Broken Wings
An angel fell
Her wings were broken
Stripped of her status
Due to sins unspoken
Where would she go
What would she do
She lost everything
The life that she knew
Time to start over
Begin a new plan
Survive on this earth
As long as she can
She will earn her wings back
She will once again fly
Soar through the clouds
In the open sky
Her wings were broken

The sequence lacks vision. How can she "have her wings back (when) they are broken?" Broken wings (broken anything) is still broken. Right? And how can something invisible be broken in the first place? Try again. Keep penning. Only thing to do. You don't want there to be a broken you. Right?

Just to answer your question "How can she "have her wings back (when) they are broken?" Broken here means lost due to mistakes made, and earning them back entails surviving through the torture of living to earn her place, freedom and peace back in death.
