I took a mental health day
Popped some Valium
I took a mental health day
And waited on the numb
I took a mental health day
Stayed there in my bed
I took a mental health day
And turned off my head
I took a mental health day
Felt pain start to lift
I took a mental health day
And began the drift
I took a mental health day
Let darkness overtake
I took a mental health day
And was thankful for the break
I took a mental health day
Built a higher wall
I took a mental health day
And gave to it my all
I took a mental health day
Think this numb is the best
I took a mental health day
And plan to numb the rest

Thank you. I've love to write but don't generally share. one can only be told that what their pen puts to paper (or keyboard puts to screen) is too dark so many times before they just keep it to themselves. I have tons of writing that I am looking forward to finally sharing with those that will appreciate it.
