NOWHERE

Little did I know,

that half ass wave goodbye,

would be the last.

We were usually too busy counting our money,

to worry about where the other was going.

The bars were always in walking distance,

and the panhandlers knew us by name,

but you weren't there, and they hadn't seen you.

When I think back,I thought I may have heard you.

Screaming my name,as the tires squealed away.

Now I can only hope that when they find you,

there aren't any signs of a prolonged end.

My dreams are of a glowing grave,

caused by your neon bones.

Calling to me,to be found...

So we can both finally rest.
