ground zero (philosophical vantage point comp)
don't call it an inside job
that intrigue might collapse
under the heat of thermite
and the engineering of Jenga, but
don't dumb it down for the crowd
the passion might flow through different vowels
but that still
is only a distraction
it's not the virgins,nitrate fertilizer,or jet fuel
nope, it's not even terror
it's love enough to lose myself
into the tumbling of the tower
devoted to debt

Damn, and Bam !
What I am working on right now doesn't even come close to what Jack wanted, so I threw an old one in there to support his comp, BUT !
You my friend have a winner here ;)
The psychology behind this is sound !

A debunk poem, I like it. I had to read it a few times, lb, a sure sign of a lot of thought packed into a small space. Skillful, good luck with the comp.

thank you kindly Atakti, I quite liked yours from the same comp, and good luck to you as well.... I suspect that that comp will draw some really strong writes...it should

I'm totally with Ataki. I also had to read it a few times, and that's pretty kickass. Not that I had to re-read, but that there was more under the surface.
You broke the shit out of the image: "under the heat of thermite
and the engineering of Jenga"
Thermite has what? A bazillion Kelvins? And the teetering image of a stack of Jenga blocks in correlation to that was fan-freakin-tastic.
Good luck!

dig it Betty, glad that imagery worked well for you. Really wanted to downplay the "inside job" stuff , because I think that the reason people who like the looks of it, do so because I feel it almost gives them what they consider this "deeper" layer of reality, what's "really going on"...and fine, conspiracy, if well done I think looks kind of cool....but, I like the look of a layer of what "might be what's goin on" better, that involves an inspired group of people attacking the largest icon of an economy that forces the entire world to play a game that is just a silly, dangerously silly game for many
ehh, i'll put down the bullhorn now, thank you very much
