Night and Day are One

Lithe, a graceful gathering of skins
Folding together in contented sighs
Chest to breasts, bosoms rest
Hearing heartbeats as they melt
Together, flowing, weaving
Needs, desires, hungers to love

Fire burning high, burning bright
Fails to candle to the light
Mere flickers of flame to the heat
A lunar of needs two souls to keep
The silver moon hides his eyes
Orbiting the bright writhing suns

Ember burning down to nought
The twilight passes to midnight hours
Entwined to heat the cooled air
Burst to liquid flame
Tossed into paraffin
Two orbs, light the night

Gentle goes the entwined souls
Nature as with nature goes
Sleep unaware of coming dawn
For nights and days, they are one.
