Lady of the Water
Tears of ashes,
Eyes of snow.
Th new Lady of the water that had sunken below.
Everyone watched the tears she'd cried.
Tired of the fire,
tired of the lies.
Nobody understood.
Nobody could see.
nobody heard the lies,
except for me.
I watched as she sunk,
too scared to speak.
Waiting slowly,
as she watched me.
Now all I can see is her lady's eyes haunting my sleep,
witnessing me cry,
witnessing me speak.
Little did I know as she stood by me,
I slowly became the new lady.
Eyes of snow.
Th new Lady of the water that had sunken below.
Everyone watched the tears she'd cried.
Tired of the fire,
tired of the lies.
Nobody understood.
Nobody could see.
nobody heard the lies,
except for me.
I watched as she sunk,
too scared to speak.
Waiting slowly,
as she watched me.
Now all I can see is her lady's eyes haunting my sleep,
witnessing me cry,
witnessing me speak.
Little did I know as she stood by me,
I slowly became the new lady.
