Why do I love you?
the enigma that alludes me
puzzles my mind
with oddly shaped words
that wrap around my intellect
fitting in all the right places
in life we wouldn't mesh
though I can dream
fantasize about you
slamming me with poetry
opening my inner sanctum
with your rough pen
riding me with angry yet delicate strokes
you will never notice me
I would gladly be the cigarette smoke
that stains your walls
the sheets below you
as you make love to another
tasting you second hand
I feel you in my soul
the pages you've written
have enamored me
melted my core
scorched this mind
let me tell you
in my off handed way
i'm lusting for you
