Honourable Mentions, (It's more than you think)

I'll keep it all positive and I'll leave whatever negatives you see in their work, or their personalities entirely up to you. Your call, your judgement.

Well, that's cleared up.. I'd just like to have some honourable mentions to those poets which helped me evolve, mature and grow, not only as a poet, but as a man.

Missy_Sub, (Or rather Mrs_Sub!) back when I firststarted on the deep underground, there she was keeping my ego in check and sorting me out when it was warranted, same goes to Miss_Indie, and Hemihead. Tell it straight, no BS.

Johnrot, he's a man of great burden. Like me, he's served in his military and his experiences have changed his views, he's a good man. Honest, emotional, genuine, that's what makes him a strong writer in his own right. He writes colloquially too, definitely more roughneck style. In your face stuff.

AlwaysCaliban, her and I had a decent friendship, it's simmered and neutral now, with a slight hostile tone, aha. That's character though, and you'll damn well need that here. But she is definitely a favorite writer of mine on this site, regardless of personal jargon, the poetry, is refined, eloquent, subtle and varies in complexity. She appeals to many, many writers.

Atakti, another favorite and my go to inspirational for a geniune, heartfelt muse, she structures her work beautifully, I couldn't name a favorite piece from her, it's just too difficult.. haha.. And she'salways there with her publishing competitons to sneak my name in! ;-)

And another great poet, and a very good friend, Strider. I love his writes, especially for competitions, he works hard to enhance his poetry and to improve, and through his desire and drive he's acquired quite the trophey collection! Haha! Same goes for Magdalena, another great writer.

I consider this next poet as something of a teacher, Mr, Alptraum. (Mr. A), he read through my very first pieces and tore them to shreds, I took every word he said and APPLIED it, that's a golden rule of honest critique it's what made me a strong, respected writer in my own right, and I've been published twice. I have him, and Atakti to thank.

Mr. Gemini, or the Falconater, as I remember him. Ahaha, considered him a partner in crime with my old account and all the shit we'd cop, hell, I can speak for myself, I deserved it. He considers himself a prose writer, and that he is, helped me edge my wayinto prose and more eloquent structures of poetry and of prose, thanks brother, this one's for you. Ahaha.

There's a heap of poets, Heslopian, Kourtnisixx, MadameLavender, and shit I'll even include OblivionsParadox!! That added more to the change, through their actions, or through their writes.

I'd like to thank MadameLavender too, one of our newer members, but no less important, she is beautifully philosophical. There are so many poets to mention, and all that I've had the pleasure to write with and to experience poetry and my own evolution in the craft have helped me to mature myself.

Come into the deep underground as your honest self, to not do this leads to a slap to the face as I have experienced with that god awful Vegan account. There's many writers to admire, many writers to learn from, and many styles to play with to suit your own, but above all commenting and critiquing poetry is a sure way to go, to learn and to evolve as a poet, and above all as a human being.

Anyway, all writers and poets have their positives and negatives, I'll leave it to you to make your distinctions, and your own judgements. That's about it for my 'honourable mentions' and if you don't mind, I'll submit this into my poetry because it feels like a milestone for myself.

This is just an honourable mention, my grattitude finally be expressed.
