Just Rambling I Suppose.
Last night, Around midnight,
I just walked outside and sat on my porch.
Looking up at the cloudy mess above ever so often.
I realized something as I picked at a near deadened wood piece.
As small layers peeled off and the piece slowly crumbled,
I could see what laid underneath.
This small and useless piece,
Formed just like ourselves. Our masks.
Everything under,
Layer by layer,
Covered yet for the world to see.
